Lane Closure on I-10 Eastbound On April 1 in Calcasieu Parish for Concrete Removal

Iowa, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has issued a notice regarding a lane closure on Interstate 10 Eastbound near Iowa, Louisiana, in Calcasieu Parish. The closure will affect the left lane of I-10 Eastbound from Mile Marker 44 to Mile Marker 46.

The closure is scheduled to take place from 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, to 5 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024. During this time, work crews will be removing existing concrete from the median of I-10 in that area.

Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and anticipate potential delays due to the lane closure. Alternative routes may be considered to avoid congestion in the affected area.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development urges drivers to exercise caution when approaching the work zone and to be aware of construction workers and equipment in the area.
