Iowa, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) has announced a temporary closure affecting the left lane of Interstate 10 Eastbound. This lane closure will take place from Mile Marker 43.8 to Mile Marker 46 on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate essential work related to project H.002980, which involves the I-10 overpass over US 165.

Motorists traveling through this area should be aware of the upcoming lane restrictions and plan their routes accordingly. The LADOTD advises drivers to exercise caution, adhere to posted detour signs, and allow extra time for travel during the closure period.

During this time, traffic delays are expected, and alternative routes may be necessary for those wishing to avoid the construction zone.
