Investigation Underway Following Pedestrian Fatality in Lake Charles Incident

Lake Charle, Louisiana - A tragic incident occurred in Lake Charles on Monday evening, resulting in the death of a pedestrian. According to the Lake Charles Police Department, the crash happened just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Nelson Road and Imperial Boulevard.

Details surrounding the incident remain limited as authorities continue their investigation. Eyewitness accounts and other information are being gathered to piece together the events leading up to the crash. As of now, it has been reported that the driver involved in the incident fled the scene.
