Intersection Closure at Ryan Street and East and West School Streets in Lake Charles For Street and Sidewalk Repair

Lake Charles, Louisiana – The intersection of Ryan Street and East and West School Streets in Lake Charles will be closed for street and sidewalk repair beginning June 21.

The City of Lake Charles has announced that the intersection of Ryan Street and School Street (both east and west) will be temporarily closed beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21.

This closure is needed in order for repairs to the area’s streets and sidewalks.

East and West LaGrange Streets (southbound on Ryan Street) and East and West Claude Streets are detours around this closure (northbound on Ryan Street). Access to local businesses will be maintained.

According to the City of Lake Charles, this closure is planned to extend until 6 a.m. on June 24, 2023.
