Intermittent Lane Closures at the Intersection of Ryan Street and Sallier Street in Lake Charles for New Lane Configurations

Updated June 17, 2019: Due to weather, this closure has been postponed to Wednesday, June 19 through Friday, June 21. The closure will occur from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

The intersection of LA 385 (Ryan Street) and Sallier Street in Lake Charles will have intermittent lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2019, through Wednesday, June 19, 2019 Wednesday, June 19 through Friday, June 21 weather permitting.

The lane closures are necessary for crews to modify signs and stripping. Motorist should expect delays as work crews make intersection modifications.

The new lane configurations for the intersection is outlined and illustrated in the graphic below.

New lane configurations for LA 385 (Ryan Street) will be the following:
  • One southbound left turn only lane, two southbound thru lanes, and one southbound right turn only lane.
  • One northbound left turn only lane, one northbound thru lane, and one northbound right turn only lane.
New Lane configurations for Sallier Street will be the following:
  • One shared eastbound thru/turn lane.
  • One shared westbound thru/turn lane.
