Inaugural Howl-O-Ween Doggie Dress-Up Day to Be Hosted October 22 in Lake Charles
Lake Charles, Louisiana – On September 26, 2022, the City of Lake Charles announced that spooky, tail-wagging fun will be held at Bark Du Lac Dog Park, located at 111 West Pine Street, on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 2-4 p.m.
The City of Lake Charles, in collaboration with Gill Bright Animal Hospital, is hosting the first Howl-O-Ween Doggie Dress-Up Day.
Canines and their owners are asked to dress up in their best Halloween costumes and compete for awards in the categories of Look-A-Like, Best Dressed, and Most Tricks. Calcasieu Parish Animal Services will also be there, hosting an adoption event.
All dogs must be current on immunizations, arrive leashed, non-aggressive, and not in heat. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. This event promises to be enjoyable for the entire family, with a children’s play area, food, music, and other activities.
