I-210 Prien Lake Bridge Closure in Both Directions Canceled Until Further Notice

Due to the unfavorable weather, this closure has been canceled. Information on future planned closures will be released at a later time.
The closure was previously scheduled for August 23 – 24, rescheduled for August 24 – 25, and again rescheduled for August 25 – 26 due to inclement weather. It has now been canceled until further notice due to inclement weather. The canceled closure was to complete the concrete pour for the westbound I-210 bridge deck.
UPDATE: Due to the forecasted weather, this closure has been postponed to Sunday, August 25 at 2 p.m. to Monday, August 26 at 4 a.m. All work is weather permitting.

Original information: The I-210 Prien Lake Bridge near Lake Charles eastbound and westbound directions from the I-210 West Interchange near Sulphur to the Cove Lane Interchange (Casino Area Exit) in Lake Charles (MM 0-3) will be closed from Friday, August 23, 2019, at 9 p.m. to Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 11 a.m., weather permitting.
The closure is necessary to complete the concrete pour for the westbound deck.
The detour routes for passenger vehicles and trucks 25 tons and less are I-10, LA 12 and US 190. LA 12 and US 190 can be accessed via LA 109, LA 27, US 171, or US 165. For trucks greater than 25 tons the detour routes are I-10, US 190 and LA 12. US 190 and LA 12 can be accessed from the east via US 165 and US 171.
