I-210 Lane Closures in Lake Charles June 1, 2, and 4

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that I-210 eastbound will have the following closures:

  • I-210 eastbound between LA 14 to the railroad overpass near Kayouche Coulee will be reduced to one lane nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Monday, June 1 to Tuesday, June 2.
  • I-210 eastbound between Nelson Road and Lake Street will be reduced to one lane from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 4.

These closures are related to the ongoing project to install live traffic cameras and message boards on I-210. The lane closures are necessary to allow crews to conduct foundation work. All work is weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
