Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) and Lake Charles Police have confirmed that I-210 Westbound remains closed due to a significant traffic incident. At approximately 6 PM, a truck lost part of its load near the Nelson Road Exit, prompting the closure of this critical route.

In addition to the load incident, another crash was reported on I-210 Westbound near the Lake Street Exit, further complicating the traffic situation in the area. These incidents have created major delays for motorists, who are now advised to seek alternate routes.

As of now, no estimated timeframe for the reopening of the highway has been provided, leaving many drivers in uncertainty. The closure affects a key transportation artery, which typically sees a high volume of traffic.
