Westlake, Louisiana — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced an overnight right lane closure on Interstate 10 (I-10) westbound in Westlake, spanning from mile marker 27.2 to mile marker 26.9. The closure is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, and will conclude at 5 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, weather permitting.

This planned closure is part of necessary guardrail repairs along the busy I-10 corridor near Westlake.

During the closure, crews will be working overnight to minimize disruption to daytime traffic.
