I-10 Westbound Closure in Vinton from LA 109 to the Texas State Line Starting January 4

UPDATE: The closures scheduled for Wednesday, January 6, Thursday, January 7, and Friday, January 8 have been canceled.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that I-10 westbound from LA 109 to the Texas State Line (MP 5.53 west to MP 1.25) will be reduced to one lane as follows:
• Monday, January 4, 2021, to Thursday, January 7, 2021, nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Friday, January 8, 2021, from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.
The lane closures are part of the ongoing I-10 widening project.
