I-10 Westbound Closure from Lacassine to US 165 Overpass Near Iowa Beginning May 9, 2019
I-10 westbound at MP 45 (US 165 overpass) will be reduced to one lane and completely closed overnight on some dates May 9 through May 17.
I-10 westbound will completely close from MP 48 (Lacassine) to MP 45 (US 165 Overpass) on the following dates from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., weather permitting:
- Thursday, May 9
- Sunday, May 12
- Monday, May 13
- Thursday, May 16
- Friday, May 17
During the nighttime closures, motorists will be detoured to LA 101 north to US 165 south.
These closures are necessary to make bridge deck repairs.
Vehicles over 11 feet wide may not travel through the work zone.
