I-10 West Reopens After Crash Near Texas-Louisiana State Line, Lingering Congestion Expected

Vinton, Louisiana – A crash occurred on I-10 West near the Texas-Louisiana state line, prompting the closure of all lanes, but fortunately, all lanes have now reopened. At the time of the incident, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) advised that it would take several hours for the road to be reopened.

In response to the crash, Louisiana State Police diverted westbound traffic at Exit 4 (LA-109) in Louisiana, which may have caused some congestion on I-10 and the detour routes.
Although all lanes of I-10 are now open, drivers should still expect some delays due to the residual effects of the diversion.
