I-10 Lane Closures Near Louisiana-Texas State Line Nightly Starting June 7

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that I-10 near the Louisiana-Texas state line will have lane closures nightly as follows:

  • I-10 eastbound right lane closures from the Louisiana-Texas state line to Exit 4 (US 90/LA 109) beginning Monday, June 7 to Wednesday, June 9 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night
  • I-10 westbound right lane closure from the weigh station to the Louisiana-Texas state line beginning Monday, June 7 to Thursday, June 10 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night
  • I-10 westbound right lane closure from the weigh station to the Louisiana-Texas state line on Friday, June 11 at 8 p.m. to Saturday, June 12 at 9 a.m.

The lane closures are part of an I-10 improvement project in Calcasieu Parish and are necessary for saw cutting and embankment. All work is weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
