I-10 Lane Closures in Vinton Starting September 8

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that I-10 westbound and eastbound in Vinton, near the Louisiana-Texas state line, will have lane closures as follows:

• I-10 westbound between Exit 4 (US 90/LA 109) and the Louisiana-Texas State Line will have alternating lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
• I-10 eastbound will have alternating lane closures between the weigh station and Exit 4 (US 90/LA 109) from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
• I-10 westbound and eastbound will have alternating lane closures between Exit 4 (US 90/LA 109) and the weigh station on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 8 p.m. to Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 9 a.m.
• I-10 eastbound and westbound will have alternating lane closures between Exit 4 (US 90/LA 109) and the weigh station on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 8 p.m. to Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 12 p.m.

The lane closures will allow the contractor to install temporary striping and move temporary concrete barriers. All work is weather permitting.
