I-10 Lane Closures in Vinton Starting March 9

UPDATE: The closure scheduled for Monday, March 8 has been canceled. The closures scheduled for the rest of the week remain in place.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that I-10 westbound from the weigh station in Vinton to the Louisiana-Texas state line will have lane closures nightly as follows:
Alternating one-lane closures on Monday, March 8 at 7 p.m. toTuesday, March 9 at 6 a.m.- Recurring right lane closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9 through Thursday, March 11
- Right lane closure on Friday, March 12 at 8 p.m. to Saturday, March 13 at 9 a.m.
The lane closures are necessary for roadway construction. All work is weather permitting.
