I-10 Lane Closures Between Iowa and the Acadia-Jefferson Davis Parish Line December 10, 2018 – January 5, 2019
LADOTD has announced that the I-10 Eastbound and Westbound left lanes from mile marker 44(Iowa) to mile marker 66.5 (Acadia/Jefferson Davis Parish Line) will be closed nightly beginning Monday, December 10. 2018 through Saturday, January 5, 2019.
The closures are to install and repair cable barriers in the median.
The closure schedule is as follows:
Monday – Thursday: 7 pm to 5 am
Friday: 10 pm to 8 am
Saturday: 10 pm to 10 am
Sunday: 7 pm to 5 am
Due to the recent heavy rains, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness have issued an Emergency Declaration to close the Calcasieu River and the English Bayou, effective immediately.read more
From the Calcasieu Parish School Board – Due to the potential threat of inclement weather during the overnight and early morning hours, all CPSB schools and facilities will be closed tomorrow, Friday, May 10.read more
From the City of Sulphur – The City is currently undergoing an emergency well repair that is primarily affecting the west side of the City. Residents in that area may notice rusty or discolored water from elevated iron levels.read more
