I-10 Eastbound & Westbound and I-210 Flyover Ramp Closures in Sulphur Starting May 17

On May 17, 2022, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that the following lane closures will be occurring on I-10 eastbound & westbound between LA 108 and I-210 in Sulphur, from Tuesday, May 17, 2022 through Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Tuesday Night, May 17, 2022

  • The left and middle lanes of I-10 eastbound between LA 108 and I-210 will be closed from 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 until 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
  • From 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 until 12 a.m. midnight Wednesday, May 18, 2022 traffic will be able to continue Eastward on I-10 eastbound through the I-210 interchange (MM 25).
  • Between 12 a.m. midnight and 5 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 I-10 eastbound will be closed at MM 25 and traffic diverted to the flyover ramp leading to I-210 eastbound (Exit 25).
  • The right and auxiliary lanes of I-10 westbound between I-210 and LA 108 will be closed from 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 until 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Wednesday Night, May 18, 2022

  • The  I-10 eastbound flyover ramp to I-210 eastbound will have right lane closure on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 8:30am until 12:30pm.• The left and middle lanes of I-10 eastbound between LA 108 and I-210 will be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022 until 5 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022.
  • From 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022 until 12 a.m. midnight Thursday, May 19, 2022 traffic will be able to continue Eastward on I-10 eastbound through the I-210 interchange (MM 25).
  • Between 12 a.m. midnight and 5 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 I-10 eastbound will be closed at MM 25 and traffic diverted to the flyover ramp leading to I-210 eastbound (Exit 25).
  • The right and auxiliary lanes of I-10 westbound between I-210 and LA 108 will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022 until 5 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2022.

These closures are necessary for routine bridge maintenance, milling and installation of roadway surface course.
