I-10 Eastbound Open in Louisiana from Texas to Mississippi, I-10 Westbound Still Closed in Some Places

On August 31, 2021, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that I-10 eastbound is has reopened from the Texas state line to the Mississippi state line after Hurricane Ida caused multiple closures. Drivers are asked to please keep the eastbound lanes clear, especially between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, for the response efforts to Hurricane Ida.

I-10 westbound between Gramercy and Prairieville remains closed as DOTD continues removing debris from the storm.

Check with parish officials before returning to impacted areas.
