I-10 Eastbound Closures from LA 108 to I-210 in Sulphur October 7 – 14 15, 2019

Drivers should expect added congestion on I-10 eastbound between LA 108 and the I-210 interchange in Sulphur October 7 – 14 15 due to lane closures.

UPDATE: This closure has been extended to Tuesday, October 15. The closure scheduled for Friday, October 11 has been canceled.

I-10 eastbound from LA 108 (Exit 23) to the I-210 Interchange (Exit 25) will be reduced to two lanes daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, October 7 through Friday, October 11 and on Monday, October 14 Tuesday, October 15.

The on and off-ramps at the LA 108 and I-210 interchanges will remain open.

The lane closure is necessary for equipment mobilization and removal of overhead signs in preparation for the upcoming I-10 widening project which is currently estimated to begin early 2020.

There will be a rolling lane closure on I-10 eastbound from LA 108 to the I-210 Interchange on Wednesday, October 9 at 10 am for approximately 15 minutes. The roadway will remain open at all times, however, traffic will be slowed as crews remove the overhead sign. Delays should be minimal.
