I-10 East and I-210 East Ramp and Lane Closures Near LA 10 in Sulphur Beginning May 4

On May 5, 2022 LADOTD announced that the remaining closures below have been cancelled.

May 3, 2022, Update: LADOTD originally announced that these closures would take place May 3, 2022 – May 5, 2022. The closures will now take place from Wednesday, May 4, 2022 – Friday, May 6, 2022.

Sulphur, LA – On May 2, 2022, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that the following lane closures will be occurring on I-10 eastbound between LA 108 and I-210 as well as on the flyover ramp from I-10 eastbound to I-210 eastbound from Wednesday, May 4, 2022 – Friday, May 6, 2022.

Tuesday, May 4, 2022 – Wednesday, May 5, 2022

• The left lane of I-10 Eastbound between LA 108 and I-210 will be closed beginning 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
• Both the left and middle lanes of I-10 Eastbound between LA 108 and I-210 between LA 108 and I-210 will be closed beginning 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 until 5 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022.
• From 12 a.m. midnight to 3 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022, I-10 Eastbound will be closed at the I-210 Interchange (MM 25), and traffic on I-10 Eastbound will be diverted to I-210 Eastbound using the flyover ramp.

Wednesday, May 5, 2022 – Thursday, May 6, 2022

• The auxiliary and right lanes of I-10 Eastbound between LA 108 and I-210 will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 until 5 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2022.
• From 12 a.m. midnight to 3 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022, the I-10 Eastbound to I-210 Eastbound flyover ramp at the I-210 Interchange (MM 25) will be closed and all traffic will continue East on I-10 Eastbound.

These closures are necessary for milling in the area and installation of overhead signs.
