Interstate 10 will be fully closed in both directions between the I-210 east interchange (Exit 25) to I-210 west interchange (Exit 34) from 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 15 until 8 a.m. on Sunday, August 16, weather permitting.

All the entrance ramps will be closed. Crews will begin closing the roadway and entrance ramps at 6 p.m. and anticipate the closure to be fully in effect for both directions at 8 p.m.

I-10 eastbound traffic will be detoured to I-210 at Exit 25 and I-10 westbound traffic will be detoured to I-210 at Exit 34. Motorists traveling in Lake Charles may use US 90 as an alternate route, and those traveling in Westlake may use LA 108 and US 90 as alternate routes.

The road closure is necessary to conduct bridge inspections and maintenance activities.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through detour and work zones and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
