Westlake and Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced a series of nightly lane closures on I-10 Eastbound and Westbound approaches to the Calcasieu River Bridge, spanning from Mile Marker 25.0 to Mile Marker 30.5 in Westlake and Lake Charles. The right lane on both sides of the interstate will be closed on specific nights in October to facilitate pavement evaluations.
The lane closures are scheduled as follows:
- Westbound Lane Closures:
- Monday, October 7, 2024, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2024
- Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024
Additionally, the I-10 Service Road (Lakeshore Drive) will be closed from 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024, until 5 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024. - Eastbound Lane Closures:
