I-10 and Prater Road Lane Closures in Sulphur, LA

Sulphur, LA – On March 31, 2022, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that the following lane closures will be occurring on Prater Road Overpass over I-10 as well as I-10 Eastbound between LA 108 and I-210 starting March 31, 2022, until Friday, April 1, 2022.

  • The right and auxiliary lanes of I-10 EB between LA 108 and I-210 are currently closed and will remain closed until 5 PM this evening, March 31, 2022.
  • From 5 p.m. today, March 31, 2022, until 7 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2022, only the auxiliary lane will be closed on I-10 EB between LA 108 and I-210.
  • Both the right and auxiliary lanes of I-10 EB between LA 108 and I-210 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2022.
  • Prater Road Overpass will be reduced to one lane with a flagging operation between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2022.

These closures are necessary for the installation of overhead signs.
