Hwy 27 Lane Closure 2 Miles South of Elender Bridge February 18 – 24, 2019
Beginning Monday, February 18, 2019, thru Sunday, February 24, 2019, there will be alternating lane closures on LA 27, at MP 69.5 (approximately 2.2 miles south of Ellender Bridge), in Hackberry. The closures will take place daily, between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
During closure times, a clear roadway width of 24 feet (two 12-foot travel lanes) will remain, and two-way traffic will be maintained in both directions via the use of flagmen.
The closure is necessary for the completion of roadway improvements along LA 27.
Motorists can expect delays through the work zone during this period. DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
