How to Watch the Last 2020 Presidential Debate in Southwest Louisiana
The final presidential debate of 2020 will air at 8 pm central time on October 22, 2020.
For this debate, the nonpartisan commission that manages the presidential debates in the US has announced a new measure to help avoid interruptions during the final presidential debate of 2020. Under the new rules, the candidates will each have two minutes of uninterrupted time to speak at the beginning of every 15-minute segment of the debate. During the two minutes, only the microphone of the candidate who has the floor will be on. The other candidate’s microphone will be muted until the two minutes have passed, then both microphones will be on. The production crew, not the moderators, will be in control of the microphones.
Both campaigns have agreed to the two-minute, uninterrupted rule.
