Houma Man Arrested in Connection with Possession with the Intent to Distribute Drugs and Other Crimes During Narcotics Task Force Investigation

Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana – A man from Houma was arrested in connection with possession with the intent to distribute drugs and other crimes during a narcotics task force investigation.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the arrest of a Houma, Louisiana man on various narcotics-related offenses on May 25, 2023, in conjunction with an investigation conducted by the Terrebonne Parish Narcotics Task Force. Brandon Joseph Faucheaux, 34, of Houma, Louisiana, was apprehended for various narcotics offenses as a result of the investigation.

The Terrebonne Parish Narcotics Task Force conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Lincoln Street on May 24, 2023, soon after 9:30 p.m., in response to ongoing narcotics-related activities tied to the residence. When Agents arrived, Faucheaux was inside the house with a 2-year-old young child. As a result of Faucheaux’s arrest in connection with the inquiry, agents eventually released the minor child to a concerned family member.

Agents were able to find and recover approximately 13 ounces of suspected Heroin within the property, as well as numerous items of drug-related paraphernalia and over $300 in cash, at the conclusion of the search warrant.

Agents arrested Brandon Joseph Faucheaux during the investigation on charges of Illegal Use of a CDS in the Presence of Persons Under the Age of 17, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with the Intent to Distribute CDS I (Heroin), Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, Violation of CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone), and several outstanding warrants for unrelated circumstances. Faucheaux was arrested and taken to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex, where he is being held on a $760,000 total amount set by local judges.
