Homicide Detectives in Louisiana Investigating Shooting Death of Woman and Unborn Child, Three Suspects Arrested So Far
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Homicide detectives in Louisiana are investigating the shooting death of a woman and he unborn child. Three suspects have been arrested so far.
The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) revealed that Homicide Detectives are looking into the deadly shooting of Kerisha Johnson, 36, and her unborn child on April 16, 2023, on the 1000 block of North Carrollton Avenue.
Johnson was reportedly shot while attempting to pick up partygoers from a North Carrollton party. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Baton Rouge Police Detectives arrested and booked Marques Porch, 19, Gregory Parker, 19, and Derrick Curry, 19 into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for 2nd Degree Murder and 1st Degree Feticide.
Authorities indicated that this is an ongoing investigation.
