Homicide Detectives in Louisiana Asking For Help Identifying Suspect in July 8 Shooting on Plank Road in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Homicide Detectives in Louisiana are asking for help identifying the suspect in a July 8 shooting on Plank Road in Baton Rouge.

The Baton Rouge Police Homicide Detectives are currently investigating a tragic shooting that occurred in the early hours of July 8, 2023, around 12:14 am. The incident took place in the 5600 block of Plank Rd and sadly, the victim, identified as William Clemmons, aged 56, was rushed to a local hospital but later passed away due to his injury.

As of now, the motive for the shooting and the identity of the suspect remains unknown. The police are continuing their investigation and are requesting anyone with information to come forward and contact the Violent Crimes Unit at (225) 389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
