Homicide Detectives in Louisiana Asking For Assistance Identifying Person Responsible For May 21 Shooting in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Homicide detectives in Louisiana are asking for assistance in identifying the person responsible for the shooting in Baton Rouge on May 21st.

Capital Region Crime Stoppers and the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) announced on May 22, 2023, that Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting fatality of Abel Palomares, 28, on May 21, 2023, around 10:32 p.m. at an address in the 12000 Block of Province Pl.

Palomares was shot after an argument with an unknown male suspect, according to BRPD.
Palomares died on the spot.
