Hit and Run Investigation Underway in Carlyss, Louisiana After Pedestrian Struck by Black Toyota Corolla

Carlyss, Louisiana - Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office detectives are actively investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred in the vicinity of Currie Drive and E Cabella in Carlyss, Louisiana during the early hours of May 15th, at approximately 5:30 AM. The incident involved a pedestrian being struck by a black Toyota Corolla that was reportedly traveling eastbound on Currie Drive at the time of the collision.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that could aid in the investigation to come forward. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with relevant details, video footage, or any other pertinent information, to reach out to the Sheriff's Office at 337-491-3795 or via email at [email protected].
