Roadwork on Highway 14 Between Hayes and Bell City Complete
Updated March 12, 2019 – The roadwork causing lane closures on LA 14 between Hayes and Bell City is now complete.

Louisiana DOTD reports that LA14 between Hayes and Bell City near milepost 22 will be closed from Monday, January 14, 2019, until March 25, 2019. During this time road work with alternating lane closures will be ongoing from milepost 20.08 (0.15 miles south of Lognion Road) to milepost 22.86 (intersection with LA 101).
Traffic will be detoured via LA 397, US 90, and LA 101. Signage will be in place advising of the detour.
Access to side streets and driveways will be maintained during the project.
These closures are necessary for roadway removal and rehabilitation near the bridge on LA 14 near milepost 22. Roadwork from MP 20.08 to 22.86 will consist of patching, cold planning, asphalt overlay and cross drain pipe replacement.
