Hickory Drive and Forest Boulevard Intersection Closure in Moss Bluff Starting September 12
Moss Bluff, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury announced on September 7, 2022, that Hickory Drive, where it intersects with Forest Boulevard in Moss Bluff, will be closed to all traffic from Monday, September 12 through Thursday, September 15.
The cause for this closure is to repair a cross pipe on Hickory Drive. The road will only be open to local traffic so that people may get to their homes.
Southbound traffic from Forest Boulevard must turn east onto Hickory Drive, then south onto Elmwood Drive, and finally west onto Oakwood Drive. Northbound traffic from Oakwood Drive will need to use Elmwood Drive north, then Hickory Drive west, and Forest Boulevard north. Drivers should watch for detour signs.
All road work is weather dependent.
Drivers should expect minor delays during construction and should use caution when driving in the area.
