Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury (CPPJ) has released a brief survey to gather feedback from citizens and stakeholders in order to enhance the performance of its departments. The survey aims to identify areas such as litter, drainage, traffic, transportation, infrastructure, and disaster recovery that require improvement and affect the daily lives of Calcasieu Parish residents.

The input received will be used to prioritize initiatives in the Police Jury’s strategic planning process. The anonymous survey includes questions about existing services, programs, and operations that the Police Jury should focus on in the coming years to improve the quality of life in Calcasieu Parish.

Citizens can complete the survey online by following this link or in person at the Parish Administration Building in Lake Charles. The deadline for completing the survey is 5 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

The data we get from our annual Citizen Survey is extremely useful for our strategic planning,” said Police Jury President Chris Landry. “The information is crucial for us in setting our strategic priorities based on the information directly from Calcasieu residents. Please take a few minutes to participate.”

A summary of the survey results will be presented at an upcoming Police Jury meeting and posted on their website. For more information about the survey, contact CPPJ’s Communications and Media Department at 337-721-3570.
