Pumpkin Patches

Moss Bluff United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
When: The pumpkin patch is open throughout the month of October.
Weekdays the patch is open from 2 PM – 6:30 PM. Saturday’s it is open from 9 AM – 6:30 PM. On Sunday’s it is open from 12 noon – 6:30 PM.
Where: 735 Sam Houston Parkway, Lake Charles, LA 70611 – Directions
Proceeds go towards missions in the Lake Charles area and beyond.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Pumpkin Patch
When: Monday through Saturday 10 AM – 6 PM. Sunday 12 Noon – 6 PM
Where: Holy Trinity Episcopal Church 1700 Maplewood Drive, Sulphur, Louisiana 70663 – Directions
This pumpkin patch is for all ages, especially children. There will be photo setups and games for the little ones.
All sorts of pumpkins to choose from, white, green, pink, warty, as well as gourds and tiny pumpkins.
Payments types accepted are cash, checks, or credit cards. Bring the family and stay as long as you like!

Haunted Attractions and Tours

Haunted Ship Lake Charles

The Haunted Ship in Lake Charles opens at 6 PM every Friday and Saturday, October 19 – October 27, and October 31.

The Lost Hollows Haunted Attraction
When: The Lost Hollows is open from 6 PM – 11 PM every Friday and Saturday, October 19 – October 27, and October 31.

Haunted Swamp Tours

Living History Cemetery Tour
When: Guided walking tours through historical Lake Charles cemeteries will take place on October 26 from 5 PM – 8:30 PM
Where: Bilbo Cemetery – Directions; Goos Cemetery and Huff and Thomas Cemetery – Directions; Orange Grove and Graceland Cemetery – Directions; Old Catholic Cemetery – Directions
Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at www.cemeterytourlc.eventbrite.com or at the Arts Council office at Central School.

Lake Area Adventures Zombie Patrol
When: October 19, 20, 26, and 27 starting at sunset. Runs last approximately 20 minutes. The last run starts at 10:30 PM

Halloween Parties and Other Events

Cajun French Music Association Presents: A Cajun Halloween Nite
When: October 27 from 7 PM – 10 PM
Where: Cajun French Music Association Building 3481 E. Prien Lake Road, Lake Charles, LA 70615 – Directions
Admission is$7 per person; Children under 12 get in free.
There will be music, food, and events including prizes, costume contests, cake walks, gumbo, soft drinks, washboard contests, a split the pot drawing, and more.

RikenJaks 1st Annual Bow Wow Beer Bash and Doggy Costume Party
When: October 27 at 3 PM
Where: Rikenjaks Brewing Company 3716 Ryan St, Lake Charles, Louisiana 70605 – Directions
There will be drink specials for adults, treats and drinks for dogs, and arts and crafts for children. There is a $10 entry fee for the doggy Halloween costume contest. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society.

South City Christian Church Family Fall Fest
