Gunshot Victim in Louisiana Succumbs to Injuries Sustained in December 2022 Attempted Armed Robbery, Authorities Asking for Help in Investigation

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – A gunshot victim in Louisiana has succumbed to injuries sustained in a December 2022 attempted armed robbery.

The Baton Rouge Police Department announced on April 21, 2023, that Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of Eishabazz Ferdinand, 50, who died from gunshot wounds sustained during an attempted armed robbery on December 8, 2022, at about 2:09 a.m. in the 4800 block of Winbourne Ave.

Ferdinand was pronounced dead in a care facility on April 20, 2023, according to authorities.
