Four Suspects Arrested on Drug Charges in Louisiana After Undercover Drug Operations

Union Parish, Louisiana – Four suspects from Louisiana have been arrested on various drug charges after recent undercover drug operations in Union Parish.

Union Parish Sheriff Dusty Gates and the Narcotics Division of the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office (USPO) have announced the outcomes of recent undercover drug operations. These operations resulted in the arrests of several individuals suspected of illegal narcotics distribution within Union Parish.

Whitney Lloyd, 37, of Farmerville, Louisiana was arrested for Distribution of Schedule II Narcotics after a lengthy investigation by the sheriff’s office narcotics unit (Adderall). During an undercover operation, agents were able to purchase suspected Adderall from Lloyd. Lloyd was arrested and booked into the Union Parish Detention Center on a bond of $30,000.00.

As a result of several undercover operations, UPSO Narcotics agents arrested Tahgi Andrews, 45, of Farmerville, Louisiana on outstanding warrants for two counts of Distribution of Schedule ll (Cocaine) and one count of Distribution of Schedule l (Marijuana). Agents purchased suspected cocaine and marijuana from Andrews during these operations. Andrews was arrested and booked into the Union Parish Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.

Monroe Shelton, 51, of Bernice, Louisiana was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Distribution of Schedule ll drugs (Meth). This arrest was made as a result of an undercover operation within Bernice’s city limits. Shelton was arrested and booked into the Union Parish Detention Center on a bond of $40,000.00. Additional arrests are expected in connection with this case.

Jennifer Wise, 36, of West Monroe, Louisiana turned herself in to the UPSO and was arrested on warrants for Distribution of Schedule ll Narcotics and Distribution of Schedule III Narcotics. An out-of-parish source provided information about illegal narcotics being brought into the Downsville area. UPSO Narcotics agents were able to purchase illegal narcotics from Wise as a result of an undercover operation. Wise was arrested and booked into the Union Parish Detention Center on a bond of $70,000.00.
