Four Sentenced in Calcasieu Parish Court Cases in the First Week of September 2019

Four separate sentences in Calcasieu Parish totaling 105 years were handed down during the first week of September 2019.
From the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office:
Christopher Moore, 33, was sentenced by the Honorable David Ritchie to 50 years with the Department of Corrections for Attempted Second Degree Murder. His sentence will be served without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
Tracy Williams, 41, was resentenced by the Honorable David Ritchie as a 4th time Habitual Offender and received 25 years with the Department of Corrections for one count of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile.
Matthew Broussard, 39, pled guilty to one count of Sexual Battery. He was sentenced to the maximum amount of 10 years with the Department of Corrections without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence by the Honorable David Ritchie.
Noel Resendez, 32, was sentenced to 20 years with the Department of Corrections for one count of Armed Robbery. The sentence is be served concurrent to time that he received inTexas.
