Gramercy, Louisiana – Four people were killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash on LA 641 in St. James Parish early Christmas morning, according to Louisiana State Police.
Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop A responded around 3:45 a.m. on December 25, 2025, to the crash on LA 641, south of Interstate 10. The incident involved a 2008 Honda Accord and a 2019 GMC Sierra.
State Police reported that 35-year-old Tyreione Parker of Baton Rouge was driving the Honda north on LA 641 when, for reasons still under investigation, Parker lost control of the vehicle. The Honda began to rotate, crossed into the southbound lane, and struck the southbound GMC Sierra.
Parker, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three passengers in the Honda, all unrestrained, were critically injured in the crash and later died at local hospitals. They were identified as:
- 29-year-old Kedrick Robertson of Baton Rouge
- 35-year-old Gevin Harvey of Baton Rouge
- 22-year-old Christina Gillam of Shreveport
A 13-year-old rear-seat passenger in the Honda was also injured. Louisiana State Police said the child was improperly restrained at the time of the crash and was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver of the GMC Sierra was properly restrained with a seat belt. That driver sustained moderate injuries and was also taken to a local hospital.
Troopers said impairment is unknown at this time. As part of the ongoing investigation, standard toxicology samples were collected from the involved drivers and will be submitted for analysis. Toxicology testing is a routine step in serious or fatal crashes to determine whether alcohol, drugs, or other substances may have been factors.
No additional details about road conditions, weather, or speed were provided. State Police have not released further information about potential contributing factors, and no charges have been announced as the investigation continues.
LA 641 is a state highway that connects local traffic to Interstate 10 and other major routes in the region.
