Charges of Allegedly Drugging and Raping Two Women Dropped Against 5 Men in Louisiana
Fort Johnson, Louisiana (Formerly Fort Polk) – Officials at the Louisiana Army post announced that the charges against five Fort Johnson soldiers, who were accused of sexually assaulting three women, have been withdrawn. This decision was made in light of new evidence that came to light.
“A determination was made that the evidence was no longer sufficient to support prosecution,” according to the statement provided by Fort Johnson.
The names of the accused have been redacted since the charges are no longer pending.
