Lake Charles, Louisiana - The American Job Center - Region V is hosting the Quarterly Job Fair on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Exhibition Hall of the Lake Charles Event Center. Job seekers and employers are invited to participate in the event, with over 40 employers expected to attend.
Veterans are requested to arrive at 9 a.m. in order to receive priority services and have exclusive access to employers until 9:30 a.m.
The job fair presents employers with a valuable chance to interact in person with individuals seeking employment and carry out interviews at the event itself.
It is highly recommended for those in search of a job to dress in business/interview attire and carry a photo ID along with multiple copies of their most up-to-date resume. Additionally, it is important to come early to ensure the chance of having a meeting with employers. Prior registration is not necessary.
The American Job Center needs employers to participate in the job fair. There is no fee for employers to take part, but they must register in advance. The deadline to register is Friday, February 16th, or when capacity is reached. To register, businesses can call 337-721-4010 or email [email protected].
