LA 27 at Kelso Bridge to Have Lane Closures for Concrete Pouring

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced that there will be lane closures on LA 27 at Kelso Bridge in Cameron Parish on Tuesday, November 28, and Wednesday, November 29, 2023. These closures are necessary for crews to carry out concrete pouring operations.

Times and Dates of Lane Closures in Cameron Parish

On Tuesday, November 28, the northbound lane of LA 27 will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Motorists traveling in the northbound direction during this time are advised to seek alternate routes or expect delays.

Similarly, on Wednesday, November 29, the southbound lane of LA 27 will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Those heading southbound are urged to plan their journeys accordingly and allow for additional travel time.

To ensure the smooth flow of traffic during these closures, the DOTD will have flaggers in place to guide vehicles across Kelso Bridge. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and follow the instructions of the flaggers for their safety and the safety of the construction crews.
