Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - A vehicle crash involving a truck and an RV has forced the closure of LA 27 at Ellender Bridge, according to reports from the Louisiana State Police and Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD). The incident has resulted in the roadway being blocked, rendering it impassable for motorists.

Authorities have announced that the ferry in Cameron is operational and can be used as an alternate route for those affected by the closure.
