Edgerly DeQuincy Road Closure Near Bud Bennett Road Beginning October 18
Dequincy, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury announced on October 17, 2022, that Edgerly DeQuincy Road, located 1 mile north of Bud Bennett Road and 3.5 miles south of Pine Forest Road near DeQuincy, Louisiana, will be closed to all traffic beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, October 18th, until 4:30 p.m. Thursday, October 20th.
The cause for this closure is to repair a cross-drain culvert.
Northbound traffic must detour to Route 66, while southbound traffic can detour to Pine Forest Road.
All road work is weather dependent.
Drivers should expect minor delays during construction and should exercise caution when driving in the area.
