Downtown Lake Charles to Host Spooky Halloween Event for Families

Lake Charles, Louisiana - The stage is set for a spook-tacular Halloween celebration in downtown Lake Charles. The Downtown Business Association, in collaboration with the City of Lake Charles, is hosting the Downtown Candy Crawl this Saturday, October 26, at 3:00 p.m. The event promises to be an unforgettable evening of fun, games, and community spirit.

The festivities will kick off with a thrilling dance party in the streets, featuring popular Halloween tunes such as "Monster Mash." Kids and adults alike can look forward to a spine-tingling display of classic cars and spooky rides, decked out with eerie decorations and jack-o'-lanterns glowing under the twilight.

In addition to the entertainment, the event will also feature a variety of games and family activities, including witches, ghastly ghouls, and a mysterious black cat that has been lurking about. The goal of the event is to provide a safe and fun environment for families to celebrate the Halloween season.

As part of the celebration, the Downtown Business Association is also hosting a candy crawl, where kids can trick-or-treat at participating businesses in the downtown area. The event promises to be a sweet treat for kids of all ages.
