SBA assistance available in Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron and Jefferson Davis parishes
on December 27, 2017 Louisiana’s appeal for a major disaster declaration for individual assistance was denied. The Small Business Administration is now acting under its own authority to declare a disaster and provide assistance to both businesses and individuals affected by Tropical Storm Harvey.
A Disaster Loan Outreach Center will open at the Allen P. August, Sr. Multi-Purpose Center, 2001 Moeling St., beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4. SBA representatives will be on hand at to answer questions about SBA’s disaster loan program, to explain the application process and to help residents complete their applications. No appointment is necessary.
The center will be open 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
