Detectives in Louisiana Asking For Assistance in Identifying Suspect in May 11 Homicide in New Orleans

New Orleans, Louisiana – Detectives in Louisiana are asking for assistance in identifying the suspect in the homicide that occurred in New Orleans on May 11.

New Orleans Police Department reported that it is investigating a homicide that left one person dead that occurred during the morning of May 11, 2023, at the intersection of Mayo Boulevard and South I-10 Service Road.

According to reports, NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a call of a person lying down in the street at the scene at about 9:01 a.m. Officers located an adult female with multiple gunshot wounds to the body when they arrived. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are now gathering evidence and information in order to identify the person or persons responsible for this incident, as well as a motive.
