DeQuincy, Louisiana: Emergency Bridge Repairs Scheduled on Bill Phillips Road

DeQuincy, Louisiana – A section of Bill Phillips Road, located approximately 500 feet south of Arthur Irwin Road, in DeQuincy, Louisiana, will be temporarily closed for emergency bridge repairs. The closure is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, and end at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 27.

To navigate around the closure, southbound traffic on Bill Phillips Road should take a detour by heading east on Arthur Irwin Road to LA 27, then proceed south on LA 27 to Leblanc Street, and finally go west on Leblanc Street to LA 389.

For northbound traffic on Bill Phillips Road, the recommended detour is to head north on LA 389 to Arthur Irwin Road and then travel east on Arthur Irwin Road until reaching Bill Phillips Road.

Please be aware that delays are expected and exercise caution while driving in the area.
