Crime Stoppers of Lake Charles Asking For Help From the Public in Solving 1997 Homicide Case
Lake Charles, Louisiana – Crime Stoppers of Lake Charles is asking for help from the public in solving a 1997 homicide case.
On June 5, 2023, Crime Stoppers of Lake Charles issued a request for the public’s help regarding a homicide that occurred in 1997.
They are seeking information from anyone who may have details about the incident. On the night of June 16th, 1997, officers responded to a home on Hagan Street in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Upon arriving, they discovered Kim Wells, who had been shot multiple times. Tragically, Wells was pronounced dead at the scene.
This homicide remains unsolved to this day.
