Lake Charles, Louisiana – On July 26, 2022, at approximately 3:20 pm, Louisiana DOTD reported that all westbound lanes are now open on I-210 at Cove Lane (Exit 3) in Lake Charles. All eastbound lanes were still closed at the time of this update.

Lake Charles, Louisiana – On July 26, 2022, at approximately 3:05 pm, Lake Charles Police Department and Louisiana DOTD reported that I-210 East is closed at Cove Lane (Exit 3) due to an accident. One lane of I-210 Westbound is closed near the same location. At the time this was published, traffic was being diverted to Cove Lane and congestion was approaching one mile.
Drivers should take an alternate route and avoid the area if possible.
